Don't get me wrong, I love the occasional brooding sad boys or couderes.
But sometimes I just want to look at a character that acts like a sun ball. And there are quite a lot of such characters in the anime.
Therefore, in this part, we will look at all those characters who are always optimistic, always in a good mood and always ready to have fun.
30. Asta
Anime: black clover
Minor spoilers ahead:
After a serious fight, Asta's hands are badly damaged. And it becomes possible that he will never fight again.
For someone who has been training all his life, that would be devastating.
And yet, Asta just screams at the sky that even this will not stop him from climbing to the top. The dude never stumbles and always maintains a positive and happy attitude.
Especially if workouts are involved, a man really enjoys his daily dose of sit-ups and push-ups. It's like he's stuck in the January gym forever.
29. Bulat

Bulat is such a positive person that it almost makes me forget about the rampant death that happens in the background of almost every episode.
He acts like everyone on Earth is his bro for life (given they're not the bad guys), and he's the first to fully accept Tatsumi.
In fact, the dude was so kind and optimistic that I quickly started putting him and Tatsumi among other female characters. I don't even like yaoi!
I think this is the power of positive thinking and luxurious hair.
28. Shinji and Ryujiro
Anime: grand blue
I want to bring these two brothers together because it's hard to imagine that they will ever be apart from each other.
The two are basically an idealistic take on college, where every day is a party and life itself is just a fun roller coaster.
They never seem reserved or grumpy, even when they wake up half-naked in front of the university.
These two brothers are just running around causing chaos and enjoying it. Every bro meme you've ever seen is secretly linked to these two.
27. Mako Mankanshoku
Anime: Kill la Kill
I don't even know if I can describe Mako as a person because she is more like a ball of positive energy.
Shealways bounces off walls, gives whole pageants explaining even the simplest concepts, and will be the one person to cheer her up when her friends fail.
This girl doesn't seem capable of hatred. And her friendly behavior can soften even the most stony hearts. To be honest, she was one of the key factors that made Kill la Kill so enjoyable for me.
26. Aladdin
Anime: Mages: Labyrinth of Magic
Aladdin is such a precious little thing.
It seems that he does not harbor malice in his heart and sincerely wants to explore the world and have fun with his friends.
I mean, just look at his relationship with Hugo. It is very useful. However, he can get serious if you mess around with his friends.
But even then, he will try to deal with everything without bloodshed.
Considering he's a sorcerer and has a lot of power, it's only his upbeat attitude that keeps the show from getting too dark.
25. Hawk

I don't usually use mascot characters, but this little piggy is hard to miss.

He always tries to fight the bad guys to protect his friends, but it's not until Mama Hawk takes the stage that things get serious.
He's not actually prone to any bad feelings and just buzzes around the main cast, raising his spirits wherever he goes.

When you find a cheerful shounen protagonist, it rarely comes as a surprise.
In fact, you can't throw a stick without hitting it in the face.
However, Naruto stands out a bit. As we all know, how difficult it must have been to achieve and maintain such a positive attitude.

Kamina is the kind of guy who doesn't get upset at his own funeral.
He is so charismatic and full of energy that talking to him for a few minutes feels like a whole motivational TedTalk.
He sincerely believes in all his friends and even makes them believe in himself.
Thanks to these qualities, the man managed to raise a whole army, although he may not have had enough in other departments. Because in the dark and oppressive world of Gurren Lagann, everyone needed someone who could shine brightly and show the way. And no one could do this job better than Kamina.
21. Ritsu Tainaka
Anime: K-on!
To be honest, almost any of the main cast would fit into this list. But I think the drummer should be called the most optimistic. Take it? How is the beat in the song? Worth a try.
Well, the combination of Ritsu and Yui always makes me laugh, especially if the English exam rears its ugly head around the corner.
But even in her loneliness, Ritsu is a lot of fun.
She makes me remember simpler times when pranks were rewarding and fun and her constant dedication to living with the people around her is nothing short of awe inspiring.
20. Minori Kushieda
Anime: Toradora!
A little spoiler warning:
If it wasn't for the fact that I'm a tsunderes lover and Taiga is a precious tangle of mixed emotions, I'd be so pissed that Minori wasn't the best girl.
The show is all about drama, so from time to time we really see Minori not working. But most often it looks like an unstoppable flow of positive energy.
She's athletic, kind, funny, oddly deep, and a person who just can't be hated.
19. Luck Voltia
Anime: black clover
Luck is kind of an oddball on this list as he technically fits the bill, but not for the same reasons as most other characters.
dude literallyalways smiles. And since he uses lightning magic, one can imagine that he does not stay in one place for too long.
However, his cheerful nature comes from a bit of a confusing place as he just really likes to fight.
He shows all his emotions through his fists, so I think it's useful in general terms. Plus, the bromance between him and Magna is top notch.
18. Kafuka Fuura
Anime: Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei
Kafuka and the title "Zetsubo sensei" are like yin and yang.
While Zetsubo is constantly trying to get away from himself and wallowing in his own despair, Kafuka sees a positive turn in everything.
I know I use exaggeration a lot, but this time I'm being serious. Kafuka is pure optimism and joy.
Even when faced with a hanged man, she will change history and decide that the man just wants to be taller. She then gives him a funny nickname and sets off, still happy as a clam.
17. Koro sensei

Contrary to my last choice, you may believe that not all teacher characters are depressed.
Korosensei, for example, has such a big smile that you almost forget that he is a threat to the world.

We rarely saw her. But even her brief appearance in the license arc was enough to make me fall in love with her. Sheperfect contrast with Eraser, because he always laughs andwonderful spend time.
Even her quirk reflects her nonchalance, as her presence makes people around her become a gut.
15. Naru Kotoishi

Naru is a character who just makes you want to have a baby because of how cheerful and healthy she is.
She showed that she can turn even the biggest cynic into a laid-back and happy guy. And Naru went from being thrown out of the house like a bowling ball to becoming an inspiration to all of us.
And I can understand that, to be honest.
There is something so infectious about her energetic and optimistic outlook on life that you can never completely rule her out.
14. Isaac and Miriya
Anime: Baccano!
We have another dynamic duo, and god, how dynamic they really are.
Even though they are technically criminals, Isaac and Miriya seem to be the friendliest and funniest characters a person could ever meet.
They constantly pull away from each other and never seem to be in a bad mood, no matter how dire their situation may seem.
I guess since they've been with each other, the world can never seem so dull or dull. And it's pretty beautiful.
13. Tohru Honda
Anime: Fruit basket
Tooru just has that wacky wholesome energy we all know and love.
Since she was in a rather unusual situation, with dudes transforming and everything, sheconstantly seems a little confused, but also excited.
And since she's usually with Suma, the hottest cat herself, Tohru is pacified most of the time by a Buddhist monk.
Even though her story is far from ideal, she still manages to move forward and help others. What is a rice ball.

Ed is so free-spirited that I often forget she's even on the show.
Not to say that I don't notice her, but rather that she is so active, so energetic, so cheerful and so joyful that I just see her have her own little show as part of Cowboy Bebop.
And while she's a certified genius and world-class hacker, she prefers to do things in a fun (and usually weird) way.
Honestly, we all need a little Ed in our lives. I mean, just look at the name she gave herself.
11. Akari Mizunashi
Anime: Aria Origin
In Aria, the main goal is to become a professional gondolier guide.
At first glance, Akari shouldn't stand a chance. She knows very little about the history of the city she is applying for, and to top it off, she has learned how to row a boat.backwards.
Yet her attitude alone manages to turn the script around.
She's just so friendly and glows with such intensity that complete strangers quickly fall in love with her.
So even though her style may be odd and the facts of her story are questionable, the experience is definitely enjoyable.
10. Naotsugu
Anime: Log Horizon
Naotsugu is a man of culture. In life, he cares about only two things: debauchery and food.
And as long as these two are present in his life, he is happy.
Even if he gets punched in the face every time he tries to explain his love of obscenity, that won't stop him from doing it again.
Of all the characters in the series, he took all the best. And quickly accepted his new life. Because of this, this front line buff tank raises the morale of everyone he comes into contact with.
9. Might Guy
Anime: Naruto hurricane chronicles
I've said it before and I'll say it again:
Guy / Lee steelthe best heroes than Naruto.
The reason is that they were not lucky in life, but they managed to climb to the top with one effort. No prophecies or demonic powers, just some elbow grease and such a positive attitude that it should be considered a kekkei genkai.
They're always bouncing off walls, and their two-tone bars slow them down with little to no effect as they stalk their unwilling rivals and revel in the power of youth.
8. Sasha Blouse
Anime: Attack of the Titans
At first glance, Sasha might seem a bit odd for this list, as she isn't as consistently over the top as the other characters mentioned here.
But her attitude is stillvery impressive.
Despite the fact that humanity hangs in the balance and it seems that the whole world is against our main characters, Sasha manages to keep a smile on his face.
Of course, this is mainly because someone offered her food.
But among all the heartbroken, cold and possibly insane characters that Attack on Titan has, I think we need to appreciate the ray of sunshine that Sasha is.
7. Suma Yukihira
Anime: Food Wars!
This is another shounen protagonist, so you already know how to do it!
Suma is the type of dude who values his friends and his skill above all else.
He loves to cook food for those he cares about, and this, by the way, is everyone he has seen more than once. And he uses his recipes to convey his feelings and lift the spirits of those he serves.
While it's a damn cliché, it looks like its secret ingredient is actually love. Or some kind of aphrodisiac, based on people's reactions.
6. Happy
Anime: Fairy Tail
It's literally his name. I can't miss this opportunity!
Like Hawk, Happy is the show's mascot. And so he usually brings all the giggles and all the ayy with him.
He is always there to be the person who promotes Natsu. And never misses the opportunity to "oh sir" when the adventure opens its doors to the main characters.
He even gets a female copy later, creating another duo of positivity and brand marketing.
5. Rimuru Tempest

It's no secret that Rimuru has fallen quite a bit in terms of power. With them to be friends with the dragon and all that ...
But I think their attitude is even more important to the rise of their empire.
Rimuru is just a good person who wants other people to be happy. They do not abuse their power and do not seek fame and glory, but rather lift others up to create a peaceful place for all who have struggled.
And when things are not at hand, Rimuru usually just fools around, having fun with the townspeople, and sometimes slips away because of this obscene kindness.
4. Goku
Anime: Dragon Ball Z
Goku is so optimistic and happy that sometimes it's even annoying.
Yes, Vegeta, I'm partially on your side.
I mean goku justrefuses abuse your power. And even the biggest villains are treated like people.
He will never take the opportunity to kill an injured bad guy, no matter how much evil that person has done. In fact, he will probably help you heal to keep your fight fair and square.
Every time Vegeta screams and threatens to blow up the planet, Goku has a random conversation with the villain and rescues the cat from the tree.
3. Popura Taneshima

Even the most toxic work environment would be a treat to have Popura as your colleague.
It may be very small, but don't let that fool you! She's almost grown up!
But don't let this last remark fool you; she still acts like a child.
And thisabsolutely amazing.
Her little freaks when someone teases her for her height, or her determination to be a valued employee, or her extremely patted head... You literally can't feel negative in her presence.
2. Tsukasa Hiiragi
Anime: Happy Star
We come back to the yin-yang situation with the Hiiragi sisters.
Given that Tsukasa's twin sister is a full-fledged tsundere, you can already get an idea of what Tsukasa is like.
There is something meditative about watching this character.
She never gets angry, and at any moment it seems that she is just trembling.
She may not be the smartest and her sleep patterns don't really help when it comes to her grades in school, but she seems happy. And that makes me happy.

Overall, Mirio is one of my favorite anime characters.
He is such a strange mix of healthy stupidity and hooliganism that it is impossible not to love him.
In one episode, he will take out countless enemies himself to save one person, and in the next, he will stick his ass out of the bush to play the strangest game of peek-a-boo.
Even when all the chips are down and life itself hands him an L, Mirio continues to smile. Because, as Nighteye said, “a society without joy and humor will not have a bright future.”
