Upcoming New Marvel Movies 2021-2024: Release Dates

By releasing "Avengers: Endgame", Marvel Studios has completed the 22-film saga. The story began withIron Man" 2008 and since then we've seen new heroes pop up, character combinations mix up. And while previous collaborative films such as"Avengers" and "Avengers: Age of Ultron, seemed complete, Endgame was the real, authentic end to the 21 films that came before it. After the Final, nothing will be the same.

To that end, Marvel Studios has kept secret which films will be next, refusing to confirm any release dates for new Marvel movies, BesidesSpider-Man: Far From Home. This continued until Comic-Con 2019 in San Diego, where the president of Marvel StudiosKevin Feige took the stage and pulled back the curtain on the first two years of films in Phase 4 Marvel.

Black Widow

The film talks about how Natasha Romanoff was a spy before the events of "Avengers: Infinity War", the plot plunged even into her life before"Avengers". David Harbor plays the Red Guardian, who in the comics was the Soviet equivalent of Captain America. Florence Pugh, meanwhile, plays Elena, the comic book character who took up the Black Widow mantle after Natasha.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Via "Shang-Chi" Marvel is planning to shoot its first superhero movie with Asian characters. The film is based on a comic book character created in the early 1970s by writerSteve Englehart and artistJim Starlin and was born out of Marvel Comics' desire to get the rights to the series "Kung Fu"which they were denied.

Instead, they purchased the rights to the villain Fu Manchu and created Shang-Chi as the son of Fu Manchu. In the comics, Shang-Chi was raised and trained in martial arts by his father, but when he found out his father was actually evil, he turned against him.

Eternal

What we know today:Eternals based on the comic book series created byJack Kirby, and revolves around a group of super-powerful and near-immortal beings. Marvel has attracted a famous directorThe Rider Chloe Zhao to the steering wheel. Filming began in the fall of 2019 and was completed in 2020. The film's release was scheduled for November 2020, but was delayed due to coronavirus issues, first until February 2021, then until November 2021, resulting in a swap in the MCU with Shang-Chi.

Spiderman: No Way Home

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

What we know so far: Although "Doctor Strange" 2016 was undoubtedly meant to be the start of a new franchise, the sequel was put on the back burner to allow the characterBenedict Cumberbatch could play a key role inAvengers: Infinity War" and "The final".

Filming was supposed to start in June 2020 but was canceled following the coronavirus. The film was originally pushed back from May 2021 to November 2021. In April 2020, it was announced that Doctor Strange 2's release date had been pushed back to March 2022.

Thor: Love and Thunder

Filming was supposed to begin in late 2020 for a November 2021 release, but coronavirus concerns have forced Marvel to reshuffle release date calendar and reschedule this release to 2022. Production finally began in January 2021.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

What we know so far: Unfortunately, this long-awaited sequel is currently under development. In August 2019, Coogler withdrew from treatment and wrote the screenplay forblack panther2, but on August 28, the star tragically diedChadwick Boseman. Filming was tentatively scheduled to begin in 2021, but no one at Marvel was aware of the extent of Boseman's illness, and so they're now taking their time to consider how to proceed. Kevin Feige announced in December 2020 that the role of T'Challa would not be recast, and Coogler is currently hard at work on the script. The film's title was announced on May 3, 2021: "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever".

Marvels (Captain Marvel 2)

Unbeknownst to the public, Gunn continued to meet with Disney executives in the interim, after he took a job as a writer and director."Suicide Squad" in Washington, and in March 2019, it was announced that Gunn was being rehired to direct the film. . The planned 2020 release date was pushed back and production would only begin after Gunn had completed The Suicide Squad., but despite all the turmoil, Marvel Studios kept Gunn's finished script. That way, he will be able to complete the trilogy as he originally planned. Filming will begin in 2021 and the film will be released in 2023.
