First, know that the vast majority of games that can be played on PS4 can also be played on PS5 thanks to backwards compatibility. But if you're looking for something fairly advanced - something designed with this new console in mind - you don't have to look far. A lot of great games have been released over the generations, and it's no surprise that the best versions have made it onto the PS5. For now, the system has fewer next-gen-only offerings, but the few it does have are impressive. Here, without further ado, are the best PS5 games.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales
Spiderman: Miles Morales is everything its predecessor was (Spiderman 2018) and much more. Playing as Miles Morales gives you access to a much deeper set of tricks than Peter Parker had at his disposal. You can still travel from Harlem to Fidi in seconds, but you can do over 20 stylish somersaults in style.SSX and not just a handful. Miles also has a literal shocking array of abilities that amplify his punches and can become invisible in the blink of an eye. Instrumentation aside, the narrative is denser, more personal, and more meaningful than the 2018 game. (Full disclosure: graduateKotaku Evan Narcissus wrote for the game.) Also, there is a cat costume. (See above.) Of course, since it's a new generation launch title and all, you're probably wondering about visual improvements and such. The answer is yesSpiderman: Miles Morales pretty cute, with two different rendering modes that prioritize either high resolution and image quality or a smooth 60fps frame rate. Both are amazing. Just like in this game.
Suitable for: action game lovers. Benevolent Neighborhood Heroes. Residents of Manhattan (have fun tracking down your office or apartment).
Not suitable for: Rhino. To anyone looking for a 700 hour sink;Mili Morales can be fully filled in less than 30 hours.
Godfall
godfall - itexact copy what you would picture from an ideal starter game: a showcase of spectacle and technical chic with some very tough combat to boot. Of course, the story is mesmerizing, and loot is just another loot of loot. But the minute-to-minute gameplay—simple third-person action killing monsters—is so satisfying thatGodfall is easy recommend on PS5, especially given the lack of games actually made for the console. While the PlayStation 5 may not be around much right now,but remakeDemon's Souls, developed by Bluepoint Games is one of the best games to launch consoles in recent times. It retains much of what made the original PlayStation 3 so special while sprucing things up a bit with a massive visual fidelity update and some very useful quality of life updates.
