In this article, we will tell you about 10 ways to make your day better. Should you follow them step by step? Of course not. Find your own methods or choose from a few. The main thing is to take steps to make today a better day.

1. Here and now.

Instead of leaving your thoughts somewhere else, come back to the present, in this moment, focusing on where you are, what you are doing, and who you are with. We can't change what's already happened, and obsessing over it doesn't help us now. Instead, focus on the present, if something bothers you, take action, but even better, just be here and now and live as if everything is now. Because it is.

2. Do little, but do it well.

Do you have a complete to-do list for today? cut it in half. You don't have to do everything on this list. Take a few items on your list and carry them over to the next week. Do less (but focus on what's important - not urgent) and you'll be less stressed. If you shorten your list and only do half of what you want to do today, your day will be much better.

3. Get one important thing.

As we said in the previous point, do less, but do more important things. When we talk about importance, we mean things that will have a huge impact on your life (personally or career) in the long run. Here's why: if you get something important, something that will help you in the long run (even if it's just a step towards a major achievement, it's important), you will feel great! You will have a sense of accomplishment. It makes the day great.

4. Plan your ideal life.

What would your life be like if you had no limits? It's not about living in a McMansion or flying jets, but what would make you happy. Good move: pick the 4-5 most important things in your life and build your ideal life around these things, to the exclusion of most of the rest if possible. Plan your ideal life and then plan the first few steps you need to take to get there. Now plan those first steps over the next week, including today.

5. Get rid of unnecessary things.

Even if it's just a small space, let's say a drawer or shelf, taking up space in your life, it can have a big impact on your mood and happiness levels. When something starts to get clogged, whether it's a closet shelf or a pantry room (and let's face it, even those who try hard to keep clean and tidy face unnecessary clutter in an apartment or workplace), take a few minutes to put away on the shelves. Calm down during the busy time of your day. Think: “How lucky I am to be alive! What a wonderful world I live in! What prospects and opportunities lie before me!

7. Focus on 3 projects.

We have already written about this, but it will really have an impressive effect on your life: select only your three most important projects and focus exclusively on them. Focus on getting them to completion to the exclusion of all other projects. Do it today. You will be amazed at how much you achieve.

8. Listen to music.

Turn on the radio in the car, listen to music on the way to work, let it always be your background. Music improves mood. Even at work (be it a boring office or a noisy factory), you can turn on light music and you are happy and others feel good.

Trite? Yes, definitely. But does it work? Yes! Take the time to enjoy the sunset on your way home today. Mmmmm. It will be wonderful. It just fills with warmth. And the sunrises are even more beautiful!

10. Spend time with the people you love.

Even if you don't have a spouse and kids, there is probably someone you appreciate. Make time out of your day to be with them instead of just watching TV alone at home eating pizza and drinking coke. Walk with loved ones, invite to dinner, call, talk. It will lift your spirits and improve your day.
