10 countries with the most Protestant Christians

A third of the world's population is Christians. Not a single continent can claim to be the "center of Christianity", since adherents of the Christian faith live all over the world. At the beginning of the 20th century, a significant part of Christians lived in Europe.

About 20% (160 million) of all Protestants live in the United States of America. This number is directly related to the early settlement of Protestant Europeans, mostly British, on the territory of the country when America was a colony of Great Britain.
