Top 15 Best Long and Long Anime

In the past few years, the anime community has been taken over by the "twelve" or "seasonal" anime that have come and gone before you even knew what hit you.

But in the "good old days", if the anime was successful, and preferably shounen, it lasted longer than most marriages.

So here we're going to take a look at some of the best anime with the longest running series, then rank them by overall quality and the part of your teens they'll fulfill.

15. Black clover

This show definitely got off to a rocky start as the entire community collectively groaned at the sound of Asta's voice.

But it continued. The screaming became less intense, the community witnessed the omnipotence of Yami and Luck, several good villains appeared, and before you knew it, Black Clover became good.

And in hindsight, the ten or so annoying episodes can't compare to the 130 episodes the show currently has, with 20 more scheduled to air this season. As for the new age shonen, I think the Black Clover is a great and safe choice to spend some time on.

14. Series “Monogatari”

To be honest, I was surprised when I actually counted the episodes when writing this list.

The series has 100 episodes plus three feature films. But it doesn't seem to be that long.

That's because the episodes make up a dozen seasons, each with a different story but based on the same world and sometimes intertwined.

Drink upincredible easy. But it can be a little tricky, because before you even watch one episode, you have to decide if you're going to watch the story according to the story timeline or the timeline of how the seasons came out.

Whatever you choose, it will somehow be the wrong choice.

13. Bleach

As you can imagine, here comes the big three of the anime world. And Bleach is going to start us from here on the list.

With 366 episodes in the title, this is the shortest of the big three.

However, there may be a major overhaul in our path, so the numbers could rise.

It is an extreme lord's dream as the style and feel is very sharp, cool and brooding.

To be honest, the combat and power-ups are very well done. And Aizen is just a god... a god I can't get tired of watching.

Plus it has that sweet, sweet nostalgia that every person born in the 90s yearns to stay sane.

12. Boku no Hero Academy

This show is just a hell of a hype.

It's so shounen that you just want to put on a cape and run around the room and punch through a wall or something.

The confusion between anime and superheroes was just an ingenious choice. The buzz around the show has also amassed just under 90 episodes so far, as well as two movies and a manga spin-off.

Story-wise, it's not as exciting as some of the others on this list, with the exception of Bakugou's transformation from a tsundere to a cute tsundere. But the action scenes definitely make up for it.

11. Code Geass

Okay, my reasoning for this is a bit odd.

The main Code Geass series has just over 50 episodes. Which seems short-lived for this list.

However, these fifty episodes -one of the best stories which you can get these days. And the fact that the show has a proper ending really makes it all a nice nod.

And if you don't think that's a good enough reason to be on this list, just look at how many side effects and alternative settings Code Geass has to offer.

Oh yeah, if you want to immerse yourself in anime, this is definitely a win-win.

10. Sword Masters Online

This must be treated with an open mind.

The franchise is hated, but honestly, if you venture into it for silly fun, you're bound to find it.

The show is technically 4 seasons because they did that weird thing when they split season 3 and will grow to 100 episodes after that season ends.

There is also an alternative to the Gun Gail series, which I honestly preferred over the original.

The fights are pretty intense. And Kirito, although being a character's wet blanket, is very well suited for a lot of vicarious bending of you, the observer will certainly do.

9. Series “Fate”

To be honest, I still don't quite understand how the hell I'm supposed to watch this show.

So, you have a "main" destiny, consisting of three alternate storylines, depending on who you choose to be the waifu or something similar.

Then there's a prequel to it all. But in addition, you also have a story told by other people in this story. Some are one-time, others are full seasons.

And then x2 you have stories that take place in the same universe as Fate. To be honest, I have no idea how to count this, but obviously there is something to look at.

He is also very much loved in the community, the fights are amazing and King Arthur is a chicken.

8. Dragon Ball Z

To be honest, I can't even count how many episodes there are in all the Dragon Ball series at the moment. Especially since Dragon Ball Z itself qualifies with 291 episodes.

And what can you really say about the series now? Goku is a terrible father, screaming gives strength, Krillin dies - that's all we've heard dozens of times over the years.

And with seasons like Dragon Ball Super, that legacy will likely live on for at least another ten years.

7. Hunter x Hunter (2011)

This one holds a special place in my heart. In my opinion, this is one ofbest arches in anime history. This is the Chimera Ant Arc.

It's also interesting to note that the arc is 60 episodes long, so it makes it into this list on its own, not to mention the 80 episodes at the top.

In regards to the entire plot, HxH does not have a suitable ending. But the show goes to a good place, never getting boring and repetitive.

It also had amazing villains, great fights, made me cry a few times, top notch overall.

6. Hajime no Ippo

Now this classic 2000s show gives you that sweet Rocky experience, but withmuch more detail .

Based on 76 episodes plus two movies and then two more seasons of 26 and 25 episodes respectively, you really get your money's worth.

For fans of sports anime, this is definitely a cult classic. You get these beautiful fights filled with internal monologues and epic music, along with the "background" of the show where we really connect with our central characters.

5. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

Getting into JoJo means getting into a new religion. The religion of courage, memes and even more memes.

It's a bit different from the other shows on this list as each season (or part) other than the first two has a completely different cast, with only some recurring faces.

If you've spent any time on the internet and have been constantly coming across Dio's name, or someone yelling that muda hit someone...yes. Well, let's say you want to take part in a draw.

In that case, I highly recommend watching JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

It has over 100 episodes between 5 anime parts so you can really invest in a franchise.

4. Nana

Okay, listen to me. I want to put Nana in here so you don't end up with nice guys who beat the drum.

It's definitely the shortest on this list, with only 47 episodes. But for a romantic drama, I think it's more than enough to cast doubt on every relationship you've ever had.

The story is really top class, with very intriguing and detailed characters. And incredibly tense scenarios.

You can only do a complete personality test based on who the person chooses to be their favorite character by the end of the series.

It does end somewhat abruptly, but I still think it's worth watching.

3 Sailor Moon

One more shojo, just in case.

As far as the young girl audience is concerned, Sailor Moon is the absolute queen of anime, with around 200 episodes and some films that completely took over the 90s and early 2000s.

And now that the image of the magical girl is fading into oblivion, it's nice to come back and revisit the OG that made it all possible.

The animation holds up very well to this day. And if you don't drink it all at once, it could probably be a nice wrap up at the end of each day.

2. Naruto

Naruto is the main show in any healthy diet when watching anime.

Naturally, you can go with the original Naruto, weighing in at 220 episodes. You'll find several iconic scenes here, such as Sand Boi vs The Flying Bowlcut, about the haircut not being character development, and the saga of the strangely dangerous snakeman.

Then you have colossal500 episodes " Shippuden". This is where the series really brings out its fight scenes to its fullest and introduces villains that make more sense than the main character.

And if you're really thirsty, I think you can watch Boruto. It is currently at around 160, however, it is not recommended to follow this path.

1.One piece

I mean, we all knew this one would be on top.

For heaven's sake, the show is 21 years old this year. Dumb pirate anime is old enough to drink like a pirate!

The show is also approaching 1000 episodes. And that can be both a great selling point and a deterrent when it comes to this show as it can literally take you through your college years. But it's also a scary start.

And on that note, all I'm going to say is that if your reason for not starting is the "stupid pirate" photo I mentioned earlier, just be aware that it can (and does) get darker when needed. . And I'm talking about this real dark darkness.
