The Sons of Anarchy series ended in 2014 and since then there have been no other notable biker films or TV series other than the spin-off Maya MC. For all those who liked Sons of Anarchy, we have made a selection of films about bikers.
15. Wild Angels (1966)
At the Wild Angels there is a tight-knit motorcycle gang called the Heavenly Blues who band together when one of their motorcycle is stolen. Peter Fonda plays the leader of the gang, who forces everyone to go on a mission to find the bike and get revenge on the thieves.
There are several fights between motorcycle gangs and clashes with the police with motorcycles constantly on display and being ridden in the film.
14. Run, Angel, Run! (1969)
The plot of the film Run, Angel, Run!follows an outlaw biker (William Smith) who tries to leave his biker gang with his partner (Valerie Starrett), but the gang decides to go after them and tries to force him back into their ranks instead of letting them leave.
It turns into a cat and mouse chase when a former outlaw biker and his partner try to outrun the motorcycle gang members who were once his next of kin.
13. Road of Honor (2014)
Although the "Road of Honor» not about motorcycle gangs, it has a lone biker on a mission and on the run from the law. Jason Momoa plays Robert Wolf, who gets his revenge by killing the man who raped and killed his mother.
The wolf runs after him and runs from the law, hoping to scatter his mother's ashes. He goes on a long bike ride looking for his sister's property to spread the ashes while avoiding the law.
12. Angel Unchained (1970)
"Angel Unchained" has a plot similar to "Run, angel, run!where the main character decides to leave his biker gang. VAngel Unchained the protagonist, Angel, joins the commune to live a simpler and more peaceful life outside of the gang.
Although the gang does not hunt him, a new group of cowboys decide to go after the commune and Angel must fight back.
11 Hell's Belles (1969)

10 Easy Rider (1969)
Easy Rider follows two bikers named Billy (Dennis Hopper) and Wyatt (Peter Fonda) as they travel from Los Angeles to New Orleans to find clients and learn more about America. Dennis Hopper also directed the film and took Jack Nicholson on board. Nicholson plays a carefree attorney who the bikers contact along the way.
It's a role that is also credited with changing Jack Nicholson's career trajectory, taking him from B-list to A-list status. He received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Apart from Nicholson's outstanding performance, the film's amazing soundtrack and beautiful motorcycles also make it an eye-catcher.
9. Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man (1991)
Here is a movie where four characters are named after motorcycle brands. In it, two childhood friends, Harley Davidson (Mickey Rourke) and Marlboro (Don Johnson), are tasked with saving a once-beloved party club when they learn it is in danger of closing due to unpaid bank loans.
They're going to hijack the bank's armored personnel carrier. However, they are shocked when they discover that the car contains a new street drug called "Crystal Dream", not money. It turns out that the owners of the bank are corrupt drug lords, and now they want their product back.
8. Hell's Angels on Wheels (1967)
Before "Easy Rider" Jack Nicholson also starred in this biker movie, which is actually the most similar to "Sons of Anarchy. Nicholson plays a gas station attendant named Poet who impresses the Hells Angels biker gang and ends up being consumed by their circle.
Since the Poet has spent most of his life alone, he is initially happy to be part of a group of tough guys. However, his conscience soon awakens when he witnesses the gang's brutal crimes, including robberies and murders. The motorcycles are beautiful to look at, as is the often troubled young Nicholson as the Poet.
7. Savage (1953)
Marlon Brando already looked too cool just standing, andSavage upped the steepness by adding a motorcycle. The film is often credited with popularizing the idea of motorcycle gangs in Hollywood films. Soon after he left, many others followed.
Brando plays Johnny Strabler, the cop-hating leader of the Black Rebels biker gang. The British Board of Film Classification banned the film for its glorification of crime and violence. Later, some UK local councils lifted the ban.
6. Che Guevara: The Motorcycle Diaries (2004)
"Che Guevara: The Motorcycle Diaries" directed by the popular Brazilian director Walter Salles, is a film about Che Gever, but it is not a film about revolution. Based on the revolutionary leader's own memoir, the film follows his journey through South America in the 1950s as a medical student.
The adrenaline in most biker movies is lacking here, but the movie takes you slowly through the small events that shaped the mind of the cult leader. When his bike breaks down, he interacts with people, thus realizing how much they suffer from poverty and political oppression.
5. Eye of the Tiger (1986)
Imagine "Rambo: First Blood, where biker gang members replace cops and fans can get an idea of what this movie is about. starred in Eye of the Tiger tough Gary Busey, plays a military veteran who returns home from Vietnam and finds that his city is being colonized by a biker gang.
Buck (the main character) becomes Super Buck and decides to fight the bikers and drive them away. There's no shortage of action here, with fistfights and motorcycle chases taking place every few minutes. And what would a movie be?Tiger's Eye" without the classic Survivor song?
4. Hell Ride (2008)
Director "Hell trip" - Larry Bishop, who also plays Prez, the leader of the Southern California gang known as the Winners.
The plot revolves around the gang's efforts to avenge the murder of one of the gang members and how the members of the motorcycle gang stand up for each other and get revenge - this is something that fans are well familiar with.Sons of Anarchy.
3. Deadpan (1991)
"Deadpan" is a movie filled with samples of a 90s action movie about an Alabama cop who goes undercover for the FBI. The concert involves infiltrating a gang of murderous bikers in southern Mississippi.
The gang not only deals in drugs, but also plans to kill the district attorney and free the arrested member. William Forsyth plays Ice, the gang's most psychotic member, and Lance Henriksen plays Chains Cooper, the gang's leader.
2. Without love (1981)
In one of the first roles of Willem Dafoe, he played a member of the motorcycle gang Vance. In the film, a group of bikers gather at a roadside diner on their way to the Daytona race. The management of the diner becomes nervous, and the customer even becomes hostile towards them.
Hostility soon leads to an endless series of violence.The film was made on a limited budget and when it was released it quickly became a cult classic, becoming one of the highest rated biker films of all time among critics.
1. The fastest "Indian" (2005)
This film revolves around cyclist Bert Munro (Anthony Hopkins) and his obsession with building his old Indian Scout motorcycle, the fastest motorcycle in the world. He spends a lot of time modifying the motorcycle.
The bike originally had a top speed of 58 mph, but after modifications, the speed increased to 201 mph. As a result, Munro wins the motorcycle race and sets the world speed record.
