The 29 Best Movies Based on Books of 2021

Who said no one reads books anymore? Whether you're a page-turner or a great adaptation, there are tons of 2021 movies to look forward to that take inspiration from really good stories.

This upcoming film from director Antoine Fuqua reimagines the premise as a man (Wahlberg) begins to realize that he is hallucinating his past lives. Both sound equally convincing, TBH.

Paternity

Matthew Logeline's book titled "Two Kisses for Maddie: Memories of Loss and Love" tells the story of the loss of his wife due to a pulmonary embolism ... 27 hours after she gave birth to her daughter. So both the book and the movie starring Kevin Hart promise to be absolute tear-jerkers.

Nightingale

Seemingly inspired by real events, Kristin Hanna's film "Nightingale" tells the story of two French sisters who, in different ways, end up in World War II.
