Often sullen and aloof , she strikes up an unlikely friendship with Gilgamesh that spans the ages.”).

Chastain will play a CIA agent who joins forces with a team of spies from around the world to thwart a plot that could have devastating consequences for the entire world.

This world-traveling thriller will be much more serious than other female action films."Charlie's Angels" , but with trailers for gunfights, martial arts, and rooftop jumping, it should be just as action-packed. The film is due out in January.

14 Uncharted: Drake's Luck

It's a fact that video game movies rarely work, as evidenced bysuper mario brosstreet fighter and sad episoderesident evil. However, recenttomb raider was not bad, and despite the thorny path to the big screen, it is quite possible thatUncharted will also reverse the trend.

The Sony video game series is certainly cinematic in size and very reminiscent of the adventures of Indiana Jones. The games were action-packed and full of adventure, so if the movie follows suit, there's hope for something interesting. Fans won't have to wait long for Nathan Drake's big-screen debut, as they'll see Tom Holland in the role next July.

This time around, James Gunn will be at the helm, and since he's already proven himself in the comics with " Guardians of the Galaxy" , it is expected to be the best film.

A new group of anti-heroes will be wreaking havoc on screen when it hits theaters next August, including John Cena's The Peacemaker, Idris Elba's Bloodsport and Daniela Melchior's Pied Piper. They will be joined by several old faces, including Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn and Joel Kinnaman's Captain Boomerang, and according to Gunn, they may not make it to the end of the movie.

16. Mission Impossible 7

Ever since the blue paper caught fire in 1996, films have beenMission Impossible" were going strong, thanks in large part to Tom Cruise's persistence in doing his own stunts. From scaling the world's tallest buildings to being hung from airplanes, it never disappointed, and neither did the movies.

O "Mission Impossible 7" knownlittle , but recent photos showed a tense fight scene between franchise newcomers Hayley Atwell and Esai Morales. Tom Cruise will of course be back, running, jumping and doing all sorts of impossible things as Ethan Hunt, and fans will see him (and his team) in action in November.

What do we know about the Fighters?

From superhero movies to spy sagas to epic franchises like"Forsage". militantsHollywood staple, especially in spring and summer (also known as blockbuster season). Because these films tend to have big budgets running into the hundreds of millions of dollars, movie studios are pretty picky about when they release them. For example, in 2020 we saw that "any time during the pandemic" was definitely not the time when studios wanted to release their big action movies. Many cinemas across the country (and the world, for that matter) are closed and movie ticket sales are falling, even as theaters reopen, many studios have decided to delay their biggest and potentially lucrative episodes. But here's what we have so far...
