The best Turkish series about love

Everyone who knows me knows that I am totally passionate about movies, series and shows, I always keep myself up to date with the latest movies, top box office and always know what the latest updates and premiere dates are. Basically, I've seen all the top grossing films, now of course it should be my own choice for example I will never watch fantasy (science fiction) or supernatural, paranormal and weird movies, that's not my genre. I prefer dramas, romantic comedies and films based on true events, documentaries and horror films. And my favorites are movies about sharks. It's the same with the series that I watch (there's just an infinite number of them) and so every day, it's like another full-time job on top of my usual one at work ...

Surely there are still people like me, and for them I will start writing this article and give you some ideas and tips for some of the movies and series that I watch regularly. In this postI will write about some Turkish series about love - about my top three shows that I love, they are all Turkish.

A year ago, when I came to Turkey for study and internship, due to boredom and a lot of free time, I decided to start watching a few Turkish TV series. My mother also watches several Turkish series in Romania, because the Turks bought one TV channel and started broadcasting their films and series. In fact, the Romanian population, especially the women, went crazy with Turkish TV series, and everyone recommended me to start watching them too. So let's get started here 3 best turkish love series in my opinion:

1. Magnificent Age (Muhteşem Yüzyıl)

This is a book for books, it is historical, it tellstrue events from the life of Sultan Suleiman, his two wives and the harem-related drama, as well as some scenes from the battlefield and all his victories. I remember watching the first episode a while ago, but I wasn't interested in trying it. In Romania, everyone went crazy after this series, so when I came to Turkey, I said that I need to watch this so-called documentary series.

It has 4 seasons, one season is about 30 episodes with something, one episode is about two and a half hours . It's a total commitment if you want to watch the entire series. From last year when I started, I'm still at the start of season 3 so I still have a lot of episodes to go. But between the daily series and the next Turkish series, I see that my schedule is full. But I plan to improve it in the near future.

The story hooked me so much that for the first two seasons I was looking at my laptop 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I love harem drama, so I'm betting that around 80% of the audience is female. But I highly recommend!

2. Blind love (kara sevda)

This is a new series that I just discovered and I really like it. So far, there is only one season, but the second season starts in September. The first season is 39 episodes and the same 2 hours, and some in the series. It's cool in a Turkish series, all episodes are over 2 hours long, which is totally worth your time instead of watching those 42 minutes and waiting another week for a new episode.

About the series -is a romantic drama my favorite Turkish actor Burak Ozcivit begins, a lot of drama about his love for a girl and her rich and influential family. If you're a fan of a lot of drama then this is a great series and Burak is so hot it's an A.

3. Forbidden love (Aşk-ı Memnu)

My top three and least favorites on my list are Forbidden Love, which I think is just as popular as Magnificent Century and has become quite popular overseas.Aspiring young woman marries an old and rich businessman. The same as in "Blind Love", an abundance of drama around the family and children.

The main character, a woman, is having an affair with her husband's nephew, so yes, it's a complicated plot. But it's a good drama with about 90 episodes as usual, so it's worth a try!

Of course, there are many more series which are better than my top three, but I still couldn't find the time to learn more, but onjust in case, here is a list of those that other people swear by:

  • Ezel
  • Fatmagul ‘un Sucu ne (sorry for my Turkish)
  • Oil Bir Geser lure
  • Kuzey guney
