10. Muhammad Ali


Muhammad Ali is considered one of the best heavyweight boxers of all time. He was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky in 1941. At birth, he was named Cassius Marcellus Glue Jr., but after converting to the Muslim faith, the name had to be changed. During his career, Ali won 56 outstanding fights out of 61. 37 of these fights were won by knockout. At one time, he defeated some of the strongest boxers in the heavyweight division, including Joe Fraser in 1971.

9. Rocky Marciano


Rocky Marciano was born in the USA in 1969 and was a legendary heavyweight boxer. His main achievement is that he never suffered a defeat, during his career he had 49 fights and won them all. 43 of his fights have been won by knockout. He was one of the greatest boxers to enter the ring. His legacy will live on in the boxing community for a long time to come.

8. Joe Fraser


Joe Fraser is considered one of the best heavyweight champions in boxing history. He is known for having fought the great Muhammad Ali three times in 1975. The third fight of that year, also known as Thriller in Manila, is considered the best fight of his career. His record - 32 wins out of 37 fights - put him on a podium in the boxing community. He is now a member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame.

7. George Foreman


George Foreman, a former heavyweight boxing champion, was born in Texas in 1949. His nickname "Big George" has served him well as he won all 13 bouts by knockout in his first year of his career. In the second year, his record rose to 32 victories, he spent all fights without a single defeat. He held the top spot for a long time until he retired in 1977. Now he is a minister of the church.

6. Jack Dempsey


Jack Dempsey makes this list as one of the best heavyweight champions of all time. He was born in the United States of America in 1895 and held the world title from 1919 to 1926. His dominance was unquestioning, few of the boxers could just stand in the ring against him. During his career, he had 83 fights, winning 63 of them. He had a very aggressive fighting style and is now a member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame.

Joe Lewis, a former heavyweight boxing champion, was born in the United States in 1914. He began his professional career in 1934 and quickly rose to the top. His first fight was against a champion he knocked out early in the match. He won a staggering 69 out of 72 fights in the ring. He knocked out his opponents 55 times. After he retired, Lewis took part in several films and was later awarded the Honorary Congressional Gold Medal in 1982.

4. Evander Holyfield


This name is one of the most famous in the boxing community. Holyfield was born in 1962 and earned the heavyweight title early in his professional boxing career. In 1982 he won a bronze medal at the Los Angeles Olympics. In 1990, he became the champion and has a solid 39 wins in 49 matches. 26 of these bouts were won by knockout. He is considered one of the greatest boxers and has become a four-time world champion.

3. George Chuvalo


George Chuvalo was born in 1937 in Canada. By general standards, his 21-year career is considered a very long one. He is known for fighting the strongest fighters in his weight class. Chuvalo fought 2 fights against Muhammad Ali, both of which became very famous. He is known for his stamina and defensive skills. After defeating Chuvalo in 1966, Ali said that Chuvalo was one of the toughest opponents he had ever faced. George won a staggering 73 fights, 64 of which he won by knockout.

2. Mike Tyson


When you think of great boxers, the name Mike Tyson immediately comes to mind. He was born in 1966 in America. During his career, he had 58 fights and won 50 of them. Mike Tyson is known for his quick hands and great physical strength. He knocked out many opponents and turned out to be one of the most controversial boxers of his time. Despite earning a bad reputation in ordinary life, he is still considered a legendary boxer in the ring. His name will no doubt live on in the boxing community forever, and most would agree that he deserves it.

1. Lennox Lewis


The reason this legendary boxer is at the top of our list is because he is the third boxer to become the World Heavyweight Champion by three versions of the Boxing Association. He was born in the UK and was a very aggressive fighter in his day. Lewis had a very famous fight against Mike Tyson and during his career won 41 of 44 fights, 32 of them were won by knockout. Although he announced his retirement in 2004, Lewis is one of the most famous boxers of all time and his name is forever inscribed in boxing history.
