7 ways to control your mood swings

Talk to me about mood swings and I might take your brain out. I am desperately capable of this, even if you thought I was in the spirit 30 seconds ago. Ah, those mood swings that we consider exclusively female territory during "these days of the month"! That's right, it can happen during PMS, and it does give me a "shouting license" for Mister Boyfriend if he dares not to pick up on the first ring when I call, but I'm sorry, you're sexist if you say that men do not have such differences.

Damn it, they have them, like a pregnant woman's appetite, however, even she appreciates people and time more. If only men understood. Nevertheless, mood swings are mostly a signal of a hormonal failure or simply the right to be capricious antics, and this is due to interruptions in your body. It's easier to say that your mood swings are related to your stress, anxiety, hunger, lack of sleep, and nothing else.

Still, girls, you get the edge on mood swings, a simple feminine "license" to them. But being on this side, have pity on yourself and others who explode and explode others with their mood swings. So how do you manage your mood swings?

7. Quit bad habits

Did you know that too much wine last night can affect your mood? It can be medications, even prescribed medications, that cause mood swings faster than usual. Alcohol tends to slightly excite the brain, which can lead to increased irritability in the individual.

In fact, taking medication also affects your lifestyle. You may be calm initially, but they can lead to anxiety and, as such, be switches in your mood. So take it easy with alcohol and medication and you will most likely see your mood swings go away.

6. Limit your caffeine intake

Caffeine causes a lack of sleep and leads to excess mood swings. Caffeine also plays games with the body, causing anxiety. Have you heard how coffee helps raise blood pressure? In the same way, your anxiety increases, making you so irritable and as a result unhappy with everyone and everything.

5. Sleep more

You know what sleep deprivation is about. No, you don’t know? And if you have slept or not slept, God will help you and everyone else. Lack of sleep plunges the body into a state of lethargy, and thus the body tries to compensate for this uncomfortable state with something else. Get enough sleep, enough, that means 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. And maybe then you will forever say goodbye to mood swings. Yes, and hormonal disruptions too.

4. Get distracted more often

Do you spend all day thinking about what to expect from this moment? You said one thing and thought of another. Perhaps you have been bitten by a fly of a changeable mood, which is the same trouble for you and those around you. So what can you do about it?

Take a break from how you feel. Check out a movie with a large bowl of cheese popcorn, or just watch a sports broadcast. Or maybe you just take a walk in the park, where you can observe the picturesque beauty that will delight the eye, which will benefit the mood?

3. Eat a balanced diet

The main reason for mood swings, even hormonal ones, is the lack of certain minerals and vitamins in the diet. You may not know exactly what the cause of the mood disturbances is, but the key is to eat a well-balanced and nutritious diet sufficient to satisfy hunger.

Also, drink enough water, cut out sugar intake and you will see how beneficial it is. Fasting causes more mood swings than anything else, I say this so that you understand why while dieting you feel so lousy all day. My sympathy!

2. Don't forget about physical activity

Not that! Your body lives in a depressed, depressive mood, and in an effort to overcome this is like a fun swing. Do you know how kids forget about vaccine pain by eating ice cream? Following their example, you may want to devote at least 30 minutes a day to a workout that helps release endorphins or joy hormones that are enjoyable and relieve the stress hormone cortisol. Now you know why in many films angry men rush from side to side. Maybe you should give some relief to their brains? Think about it.

1. Do something - find a hobby

There's nothing more fun getting rid of your mood swings if you're creative or productive, or both. At least you don't waste time doing nothing at all. Art lessons, handicrafts, yoga or rumba classes, choose what you like and do. You will not know to the end what and what you are so good at.

Whether it's sewing or beading, horse racing, or collecting stickers. Maybe this is your calling. Who knows ... In any case, this is better than an empty head with thoughts on how to change your mood, but now you know how to control its swings, right?
