15 most unkillable heroes

There have always been many heroes in films, comics and the media. A good hero is just a great fighter, but a great hero is one who lives forever. And here are 15 immortals in front of you.

We have selected several eternally living characters who cannot be killed due to their special abilities, mutations, or they themselves do their best not to go to another world.

All the heroes are good, but there are ten times more of them than we can list here, so only 15 of them were included in the list. We did not prioritize or try to show that someone is more important, more important, or stronger than others. We are sure that you will not find any of your favorites here, but we have no doubt: you will also support our choice.

Well, enjoy the list of superheroes of all time who are not ready to meet their creator and, very likely, will never be going to leave this mortal world. Remember, having great power comes with a great responsibility to live forever. Also take a look at 15 of the Strongest Anime Characters of All Time.

15. Superman

The Steel Man has become one of the iconic comic book heroes of all time. Also called Superman, he is practically invincible. He has a weak spot - kryptonite from Krypton - a piece of soil from his home planet, which takes away strength and makes his skills useless. Several incarnations of this character have been killed in their respective storylines, but we assure you, Superman will live forever.

Even though the 2016 film adaptation “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice"The hero dies, by the end of the film the creators lead us to the idea that Superman is alive, because it is impossible to kill someone who is faster than a flying bullet, stronger than a locomotive and is able to jump over tall buildings in one jump. So look into the sky: this is not a bird, not an airplane - this is Superman, and his flight will last forever.

14. The Incredible Hulk

The Incredible Hulk is a true green giant. David Banner, aka Bruce Banner, depending on which version you read or watched, during a failed experiment in his laboratory was exposed to gamma radiation and mutated. The Incredible Hulk is Banner's inner bestial essence that appears during fits of rage when the hero loses his temper.

The Hulk is about two and a half meters tall (a little more or less in different films), and his skin is almost rubbery, so the bullets bounce off him. There are suggestions that he can be killed by ripping out his heart or cutting off his head and taking them many kilometers away from the body, but this is only speculation from fans.

The Hulk is another superhero who was killed and returned. This happens to invulnerable characters when the author no longer writes about them or the plot itself comes to an end. Then the hero returns in a different version of the film or book, usually created by a different author.

13. Indiana Jones

Indiana Jones has no superpowers, he is an ordinary person. He survived after being shot at by the Nazis and the Russians several hundred times. He was present at the opening of the lost Ark of the Covenant and experienced the wrath of God that melted or exploded everyone else. Indiana drank from the chalice of Christ, the Holy Grail, rumored to give immortality, and this may be one of the reasons why the wonderful Dr. Jones cannot be killed.

Indiana was also thrown into a pit with rats and poisonous snakes, he survived crashes, explosions, fires, was attacked by aborigines with poisoned darts, drank poison, got into a plane crash at least once, drank Kali's blood, and Mola Ram tried to cut out his heart.

It’s not even worth trying to count how many times he escaped the danger of being cut or crushed by huge razor blades, giant boulders, a spiked ceiling, not to mention aliens looking for a crystal skull. Have we missed something or is it enough to convince you? You might also be interested in the article 15 Chic Scenes Removed from Indiana Jones.

12. Batman

Under the cloak and mask, Batman remains human. Like Indiana John, he does not have any superpowers worth mentioning - only excellent martial arts and combat skills. Batman has been injured multiple times, but since his alter ego, Bruce Wayne, is a millionaire, he has access to the best medical technology.

Nevertheless, as already noted, Batman is a mere mortal man, so, in all likelihood, time will nevertheless catch up with him and do what the Joker, Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman, Mr. enemies. Batman is also an example of a character who was killed in different versions of the story and resurrected later, and for 75 years time has not been able to catch up with him. Let's hope this bat will be with us for the next 75 years.

11. Luke Skywalker

Luke Skywalker is the son of Anakin Skywalker, also known as Darth Vader, from the universe "Star wars". Luke, like his father, is a Jedi Master with excellent command of the Force. Strength is a mystical ability to control everything in life, a special type of energy. Since Luke is a human from the planet Tatooine, you can expect him to be able to die like his mother Padmé Amidala or his aunt and uncle.

However, one of Luke's teachers, Obi Wan Kenobi (Ben), often appears as a ghost to help and mentor the young Jedi Knight. Once in "Return of the JediLuke even sees Kenobi as a glowing ghostly figure. It is said that the great masters of the Force can manipulate reality even from the underworld. This happened to Luke's father Anakin, who was conceived without a father. So even if Luke explodes with the new Death Star or is hacked in two with a lightsaber, it is very likely that he will appear on Facebook or be able to tweet from the other side using the Force. 10. James Bond

James Bond could play drawersk: for a secret agent, the ability to kill and be killed is quite obvious. He has killed countless times, but this has never happened to him, and it probably never will. James doesn't seem to age at all. The adventures of the super agent began in 1962 and since then have been regularly supplemented with new sequels until 2015, which is already 53 years.

Agents with two zeros retire at 45, and even if we assume that he became a spy for the MI-6 secret service when he was a year old, he should be at least 54 now. In general, one can expect that Bondiana will continue for a long time , and James Bond will continue to avoid solar lasers, exploding spaceships, bombs, bullets, plane crashes and everything that only comes his way.

9. Robin Hood

Robin Hood is the eternal hero of all time. He steals from the rich and gives the spoils to the poor. He is an excellent archer, whose history has come down to us from ancient times. He is not a superhero, not a mutant, and has no special powers or divine powers. He's just a nice guy who takes care of his less fortunate compatriots.

In theory, Robin has vulnerabilities and can be killed, but this is either just about to happen or, very likely, this will not happen at all, unless Tim Burton gets the rights to film the story of Robin Hood. In this case, you can expect Robin to change the green outfit to black, die in the end, and Johnny Depp will play him.

8. Wolverine

Wolverine is one of the X-Men and is over 150 years old. Most of his body is made of adamantium, and he has retractable indestructible claws on his hands that can rip almost anything. Although the hero is said to have recently died in the film “Logan”, We can assume that sooner or later he will return. The filmmakers needed to complete the story of the character Hugh Jackman, with whom the image of Wolverine is fully connected and who simply grew old for this role.

Jackman has been a Wolverine for over 15 years and felt it was time to leave. Either way, since Wolverine is arguably the most popular X-Men character in this money-driven world, the real power to survive and return to the screens is the almighty dollar. When your lead actor gets too old, you don't kill the whole team, you just replace him. This is unlikely to happen right now, but rest assured, one day Wolverine will return.

7. Matt Dillon ("Barrel Haze")

Matt Dillon - fictional American sheriff of the town of Dodge City, Kansas in the TV and radio versions of the western "Trunk smoke". The production lasted 20 years from 1955 to 1975, 635 episodes were shot for television. Sheriff Dillon is another hero from the line of ordinary people, and he is not at all bulletproof.

Since he did not die in the film, Sheriff Matt Dillon will live forever, at least as long as cable TV is broadcasting channels with black and white westerns such as “Trunk smoke" and "There are weapons - there will be travel».

6. Thor

Thor is a Scandinavian god, and, as you know, you cannot kill a god. Thor's powerful hammer helps protect the inhabitants of Asgard and Earth. The hammer can only be used by Thor himself, unless there is someone who can prove that he is also capable of it. Father Thor Odin made it so that only the most worthy can raise the weapon, and the one who does this will receive all the power of Thor.

Thor is one of the Avengers, just like the Incredible Hulk, which we already talked about. In all likelihood, Thor is not afraid of death from old age, but some believe that he can be killed in battle, although this is easier said than done, since Thor is still alive and actively fighting.

5. Immortal

Need more to say? His very name means that he cannot be killed. By that alone, he earned a spot on our list. Let's put aside the fact that his head was once cut off, but he survived. Several doctors and scientists simply sewed their heads to the body with a minimum of effort. He didn't even have to add a body to a severed head. The immortal has been living since ancient times: he was one of the knights of King Arthur's Round Table and played an important role in several historical events at different times, including some wars.

Once he even took a pseudonym and became the President of the United States under the name of Abraham Lincoln. The affairs of Honest Abe did not turn out very well, but the Immortal survived, although after Booth's murder of Lincoln he had to get rid of his pseudonym in order not to reveal his secret.

4. Zorro

Zorro is a legend, and legends never die. They only become overgrown with more and more details and stretch over time. More than one person was hiding under the mask of Zorro. Being Zorro means much more than just being human. He wears a black mask like Dick Grayson, aka Robin, Batman's first partner, or the Lone Ranger; black cloak, black sombrero (hats differ in different productions) - and generally wears only black.

His favorite weapon is a revolver, whip or sword. Everyone knows that the sign "Z", Left on the wall or by something else, is his corporate signature. For the Mexicans, Zorro is a hero, just like Robin Hood. He fights against the authorities who have crushed people with exorbitant taxes, and steals from those who fill their pockets at the expense of the hard work of the common people. Zorro gives the stolen money to people. Zorro always appears where needed. If one Zorro dies, is captured, or is unable to fight due to age or injury, another will take his place. Zorro will live forever.

3. Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman Diana Prince is an Amazon over a hundred years old. Wonder Woman possesses superhuman strength, speed, stamina, and longevity. She is a skilled fighter and incredibly skilled in hand-to-hand combat. The lasso of truth is a powerful, but not her strongest weapon. Indestructible bracelets ward off bullets that might kill someone less miraculous.

An indestructible sword and shield complement her equipment. Judging by the trailers for the new Wonder Woman movie, she is devoid of any weaknesses that could give someone the opportunity to kill her, if only the picture does not fail at the box office. To be on the far shelf is a fate worse than death.

2. John McClain

John McClain - New York Police Officer from "Die hard”, Completely refusing to die, and not because there are few dangers around and attempts to assassinate his life. Hans Grubber with a dozen terrorists tried to kill him first, but was thrown from the top of a skyscraper. Next, in "Die Hard - 2"Major Grant, Colonel Stewart and General Esperanza tried with numerous soldiers, but they themselves died.

Also failed was an attempt by Hans Grubber's brother Simon in “Die Hard - 3: Retribution". McClain survived in the fourth and fifth parts of the film and, obviously, would have been able to do so further if Bruce Willis, who starred in this role, had not aged over the years.

1. Deadpool

Like Wolverine, Deadpool comes from the X-Men universe and is also a mutant. He was once a cancer patient and underwent a procedure that could have cured him. But he was deceived and simply used as a guinea pig. As a result, he became terribly ugly; however, he was still cured of cancer. At the same time, Deadpool gained incredible healing and regeneration abilities.

His bones were broken, or even ground into powder, but restored. They shot at him, but the wounds healed, and the severed limbs grew back. So this foul-mouthed character is completely invulnerable. Yes, he himself thinks so. He once cut off his wrist just to get away from the good guys.
