Movies "The Da Vinci Code" all parts in order

The film franchiseThe Da Vinci Code" in chronological order. The Da Vinci Code was the second novel by author Dan Brown to feature its recurring protagonist Robert Langdon, a well-known "symbolist". In the story, Langdon is called to investigate a murder at the Louvre, which results in him on the run from the police, an albino killer, and a secret society, discovering that Jesus Christ may have fathered Mary Magdalene's child. The book did not receive good reviews and was widely condemned by the church, which did not stop it from becoming a giant bestseller.

"Angels and Demons" on the was actually the first novel in a series of books by Dan Brown, but after the success "The Da Vinci Code" was reworked as a sequel. Ron Howard, who directed all three films, clearly took the first film's criticism to heart and made sure the sequel moved at a faster pace and didn't get too bogged down in exposition. Perhaps that is why " Angels and Demons" received perhaps the best reviews of the Robert Langdon trilogy.

It's definitely a lot nicer thanInferno 2016, in which Langdon suffers from some plot-friendly amnesia as he races against time to stop a plot that will wipe out half the planet's population. Story "Inferno" almost does not fit into one whole, and the film sometimes pulls even more than "The Da Vinci Code". This was somewhat helped by the performances of Felicity Jones and the late Irrfan Khan, but this is the weakest of the franchise and has no equal. It seems that Tom Hanks' reign as Robert Langdon has come to an end and Ashley Zuckerman will play the young professor in an upcoming TV adaptation.
