How to Dual Boot Android 10 Pie and Windows 10/Linux/Chromebook

How to install Android 10 alongside Windows 10

Here is the correct sequence to dual boot Android Pie and Windows 10 using Bliss, without wasting a second, let's get started.

What you need

  • Bliss OS ISO (https://blissroms-x86.github.io/)
  • Rufus
  • USB flash drive minimum 8 GB

1. Disable secure boot

Most vendors now ship with UEFI BIOS, so in this case you need to disable secure boot before installing it.

To disable secure boot, just navigate to the BIOS menu using (F2, F9 or whatever your system's key is, if you don't know the exact key, just google it, you'll find it), or you can disable secure boot via Windows settings.

  • Go toSettings Windows 10 >>Update and Security >> Recovery.
  • Vrecovery settings click on optionrestart now.
  • You will be taken to a special boot menu where you need to click onTroubleshoot option.
  • Now clickadvanced options and chooseUEFI firmware settings.
  • From here, you can easily disable secure boot.

2. Create a partition

  1. Right click on the "This computer" on your desktop and select "Control".
  2. Then go to tooldisk management from the list on the left.
  3. Select a partition with enough space (at least 8 GB) and then right click on that section >>Shrink Volume.
  4. Enter size inmegabytes, for example, if you want to make a 7GB partition, then insert 7168MB, after selecting the partition size you want, click the "Compress".
  5. Your partition has now been successfully created. Now launch Rufus and select the downloaded BlissOS.iso file and then select the USB drive. (Keep the USB stick connected to the PC, do not remove it)
  6. Finally, click OK.

3. Installation

  1. Now restart your computer and press the boot menu key if you have a Dell motherboard then press the keyF12 , another manufacturer has a different boot menu key (so google it).
  2. Once you enter the boot menu, select your USB device.
  3. There you will see the Bliss OS installation menu and you will need to selectThe 4th option, which is called "Install Bliss OS 12".
  4. Now you will get the partition scheme window and select the 7 GB partition we created earlier.
  5. Then format the partition in ext4 format.
  6. After formatting the partition, the installation process should begin.
  7. When the installation completes successfully, you will be prompted to create a disk image that is required for internal storage, just like on an Android smartphone, so just select the optionYes.
  8. Your Android 10 will now be installed on your computer.
  9. When finished, restart your computer after the loading logo is displayed, you can choose another OS BLiss Android 10 or Windows 10.
  10. Done, your PC is now running Windows 10, 8.1, 7 and Android 10.

This is it! Now your computer is running Android along with Windows 10, you can choose which operating system you want to run while the grub menu appears.
