10. "Others"


Nicole Kidman plays Grace, a devout mother of two sick children. Together they move to a mansion on the coast of England and await the return of the father of the family from World War II, despite the fact that he is presumed dead. Children - Ann (Alakina Mann) and Nicholas (James Bentley) - suffer from a rare daylight intolerance. As a result, Grace has to make a rule: only one door can be open at a time in the house. When her daughter tells her that she saw ghosts, she initially blames the new servant for this, but frightening events and visions soon make her think that something strange is actually happening in the house.

9. "Game"


The main character, Nicholas van Orton (Michael Douglas) from San Francisco, is a wealthy investment banker who continued his father's business. On his 48th birthday (it was at this age that his father committed suicide), he receives a special gift from his younger brother, freethinker Konrad (Sean Penn), who suddenly appeared in the city. This is a gift in the form of a certificate from the "Entertainment Service" for "the person who has everything." The company develops personalized games for customers who, according to seller Jim Feingold (James Rebhorn), “lack something in life”. The Entertainment Service provides Nicholas with a series of elaborate assignments. At first they seem harmless, but then they become a serious threat to life.

7. "Shining"


Frustrated writer Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson), his wife Wendy (Shelley Duvall), and their psychic son Danny (Danny Lloyd) move as observers during the winter to the incredibly sinister Overlook Hotel surrounded by mountains so Jack can write in silence and tranquility. Before hiring the main character for this job, the manager (Bari Nelson) reports that the previous caretaker went mad and mercilessly killed his family. Jack sees no problem in this, but the visions of his son make everyone wary. At the hotel, Danny rides his bike, plays with his mother in the maze, while his father is busy with the store in the recreation area and asks him not to interfere. "Tony", the son's fictional friend, warns of bloodshed as Danny is tormented by bloody visions of past events. Lost in thought, Jack also begins hallucinations when he walks into a hotel bar.

Homicide detective William Somerset (Morgan Freeman) is one week away from a well-deserved retirement. Lisa Reisert (Rachel McAdams) is a young girl who is scared to death of flying. However, due to circumstances, she is forced to go to Miami. As soon as their plane is in the air, Lisa finds out that the guy is not at all who he claims to be. Jackson is a member of a terrorist group that intends to assassinate the head of national security. He decided to use Lisa to achieve his goal. The girl is not going to be an accomplice in the crime, but soon the terrorist has a trump card in his hands: other members of the group are holding Lisa's father hostage and will kill him if she refuses to help.

2. "Psycho"


Marion Crane (Janet Lee) dislikes her job at a real estate agency in Phoenix, Arizona, or her relationship with hardware store manager Sam Loomis (John Gavin). 1. "Island of the Damned"


The film takes place in 1954. Due to the hurricane, he is forced to stay on the island and unravel the mystery of this gloomy place. However, he can not stand it and goes crazy.
