Top 10 conspiracy theories

Conspiracy theory is by no means a new phenomenon, it has examples of its emergence in social and political spheres dating back centuries. Do you know that movie where Shakespeare is portrayed as a fraud? This film is based on the rumors about Shakespeare that were prevalent at the time. Of course, the internet has revolutionized the way we communicate with each other, especially with like-minded people, this has started to lead to all kinds of different theories.

10. Paul McCartney died in 1966

In 1969, rumors circulated among music fans and radio stations in New York that Paul McCartney had died in a car accident during the Beatles' peak, and had been cleverly replaced by a stunt double to whom the group would transfer salaries. This theory still finds its followers today.

This makes sense from a business point of view, because the band did not benefit from one of their members dying at the height of their fame, but would the other part of the group agree with this? As for the alleged “clues” at several points on album covers, etc., I highly doubt they would be allowed to leave those ambiguous clues.

9. Death of Princess Diana

As is usually the case with the death of someone from the royal family, even in our time, there are several theories about the death of the princess. People build different theories, one of which says that Diana is tired of the constant control of the media, watching her hectic life (parting with Prince Charles, relationships with other members of the royal family and their public support, charity, motherhood).

Because of this, the princess could fake her own death, which was a good attempt to avoid all of this. Another theory is that at the request of the monarchy, which saw a threat in Diana, an unknown person fired a shot from the M16, which caused a fatal car accident. There are many more interesting theories on this score.

8. Reptilian elite

These two words combine to sound like the title of a horrible low-budget movie, but conspiracy theory is one of the most popular these days. The theory that the rulers of our society are actually extraterrestrial reptilians who take the form of a human in order to infiltrate the population with the intent to rule was popularized (if that's the right word) by former BBC sports reporter David Icke in the late 1990s. Since then, he has lectured on his theory around the world. This is what he is doing to this day, and I must add that his audience is growing.

7. Condensation trails

Have you seen these huge streaks of steam in the air, left by the plane, which has long disappeared over the horizon? While many of you, like me, would attribute this phenomenon to aircraft performance (and if you were asked to be more precise, you would most likely say something about engine performance and fuel combustion), there is a popular the theory that this vapor is actually atmospheric chemical precipitation, designed to give you and I both breath-taking pleasure day after day. It can also be something like a neutralizer to reduce aggressiveness, fear and the risk of a possible revolution, or a sterilizer to combat overpopulation. Either way, this is a confusing theory, but incredibly interesting.

6. Fake moon landings

What we need to keep in mind about this theory, and about the moon landings in general, is that during all these events, the West was drawn into a bitter Cold War with the USSR. So while you are asking yourself the meaning of such a pointless lie, remember how politicians love diplomatic posing and throwing stones.

The theory entails the belief that the moon landings were fabricated in a Hollywood studio in order to end the international race and to stay one step ahead of the Soviets during the great political humiliation of the United States. There are several compelling arguments in favor of the theory, but it is simply impossible to fit them all here.

5. Roswell

On July 8, 1947, at a time when more and more North Americans reported seeing UFOs, debris from an unidentified flying object was discovered by the US Army at a ranch near Roswell, New Mexico. Although the early claims of the discovery included many details of the UFO crash, they were not accounted for.

The army later denied these claims, saying that it was not a spaceship that crashed, but a balloon. Despite this, several witnesses went to the Roswell military airfield, assuring everyone that they saw something outside of our world and that an autopsy was carried out on the bodies of aliens that night.

4. John Fitzgerald Kennedy

President John Fitzgerald Kennedy was killed on November 22, 1963 by two bullets hitting him while driving an open-top car in Dallas, Texas. Although Lee Harvey Oswald's killer was quickly arrested and convicted as a result of the incident, many people believe that Kennedy's death was part of something larger.

The fact that the trajectory of the bullets coincides with the wounds on Kennedy's body pushes all conspiracy theories aside. But the USA in the 1960s was a very hectic place, as a result, a lot of theories emerged about who killed the president and why.

3. 9/11

One of the most recent and deeply disturbing conspiracy theories still has a following today. Theorists blame the US government for attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon in order to justify the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. There is enough evidence to support this theory, which makes it even more terrifying.

2. Pearl Harbor

A similar situation with 9/11: theories surrounding the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 say that the Japanese empire was provoked to attack in order for the United States to have an excuse to enter World War II. Two years after Britain declared war on Germany in 1939, the American people had no interest in entering the war until a closer threat arose. Beyond this theory, American officials are accused of knowing about the impending attack but doing nothing to minimize death and destruction.

1. Illuminati

This term refers to a group of secret societies that control the world through their inherent positions of social power. Most likely, these societies are linked by origin and blood ties, they say that the children of members of societies are instilled from the very beginning “satanic” ideas of a new world order, in other words, the world government consists of one family.

While there has been evidence that some prominent political and social figures have studied at the universities of the same fraternity and the like, whether there is a huge conspiracy or not, created to voluntarily enslave all people at the whim of already wealthy individuals, we the truth remains to be seen.
