5 most tenacious creatures

Nothing on earth lasts forever. But the next 5 creatures mercilessly break the given template. They are so tenacious that all these stories about immortality do not seem unreal. They do not care about the cold, or the heat, or the absence of any conditions suitable for survival. Intrigued? Below are the Top 5 most living creatures on the planet.

1. Immortal jellyfish

Turritopsis nutricula is considered an immortal jellyfish and lives up to its nickname. And the reason for this is the endless number of ripening cycles. That is, this creature is constantly, as it were, born again. Again and again after the end of the ripening period, the jellyfish goes back to the polyp stage and begins to ripen.

2. Hydra

Very similar to the immortal jellyfish. Scientists have not yet fully studied the vital characteristics of the hydra. But it is absolutely certain that the structure of the hydra consists of special chambers that are constantly dying off and replaced by new ones. So destructive substances do not accumulate in the body and any destructive flaws are excluded. Therefore, the life cycle of hydras is also endless.

3. Fish Lang

The most important feature of this small fish is its lungs. They make it possible for her to survive for a long time without water, and this period can last up to a year. In a drought, the lang fish burrows into the mud and hibernates, the whole summer it can stay that way without nutrients and water. There is a well-known story that involuntarily became an experiment when a lang fish, placed in a box with mud, was accidentally lost. Six months later, we managed to find this box, but the dirt in it was dried up. When the mud was diluted with water, the fish was alive.

4. Tardigrade

The tardigrade is a microscopic animal that lives in the aquatic environment. Measuring only one and a half millimeters, the tardigrade is very tenacious. In addition, it is quite common, because it can be found in any climatic zone. It is called a water bear, although the bear does not stand out for such resilience. It perfectly tolerates low temperatures and can withstand up to - 273 and + 151 degrees Celsius. Radiation is also nothing to her: it withstands the maximum indicators for other organisms, increased by 1000 times. In 2007, scientists carried out an experiment: in a full vacuum, the tardigrade was placed in low orbit. When they returned to Earth, surprisingly, the fact is that everyone was alive.

5. Tree branch

The mystery of nature is also hidden in the body of the tree breeze. This giant cockroach-like insect lives in New Zealand. Due to the fact that the blood of this animal contains a special protein that excludes blood clotting, tree breeze is able to withstand the lowest temperatures. The animal's blood does not freeze, but the consciousness turns off, but as soon as the tree breeze thaws, it comes to life again.
