10 best 4K TVs

TVs are getting bigger and better with every generation. For the best quality images in 2017, select 4K TValso called Ultra HD TV... It has 4x HD pixels.

One of the advantages of 4K is the extreme detail in the picture. The last characteristic to look out for is HDR - High Dynamic Range. It uses brighter display tones, which enable it to display bright and dark areas in high detail.

All 4K TVs have HDR. The number of movies and shows that support HDR and 4K is limited. HDR content is still quite rare.

1. Sony KD-65ZD9BU TV

It has amazingly high UHD picture quality. As with HDR, image processing is specifically designed to take full advantage of Sony's new Backlight Master Drive technology. Where most LCD screens have one or more separate backlights to avoid gray overlays during dark scenes, this technology has over 600.

Each one is individually controlled for incredible contrast and vibrant colors. If there is a flaw in this screen, it is the Android TV operating system, which is not as pleasant as the others, but you can live with it. Well, if it is not enough for a 65 "screen, then this TV is also sold with 75 and 100" screens.

2.Panasonic Viera 65DX902B

An impressive 65-inch TV with a stunning picture - rich, brilliant colors. Like the one described by Sony, it uses a local dimming system when needed, where parts of the screen can be lit in different ways (although this TV doesn't have as many individual backlights as Sony does).

The special honeycomb design of the screen prevents light from leaking where it shouldn't be. Panasonic smart TVs use an interface designed for Firefox that is versatile and easy to use.

3. Samsung UE55KS7000

Samsung cites the best models as SUHD - with the best picture quality and many features. Among the technologies used are quantum dots - extremely tiny particles that emit light of different colors depending on their size.

The TV can display extremely bright colors from a wide range. This 55-inch model is impressive and delivers great images at a price lower than its competitors. The design of the TV is also gorgeous.

4. Philips 43PUS6501

Philips has long championed its dedicated Ambilight lighting system, where the colors of the dominant color on the screen are projected onto the wall behind the TV. It sounds strange, but give it a try and you will soon find that the TV is no longer as impressive without this feature.

It makes the TV look bigger than it actually is, and it is truly exciting. The 43-inch model is very impressive, especially for the price.

5. Hisense 65M5500

The 65-inch TV has a very attractive price tag. But this is Hisense, a Chinese brand that is thriving and selling at low prices. Nice design and simple and efficient interface Image quality is high, but not perfect.

When choosing TVs from brands such as Sony, Panasonic and others, you pay for high-level image processing - in this, Hisense TV cannot compete, but while it is not so in demand, it is a strong competitor for a good price.

6. Samsung UE65KS9500

Samsung, a pioneer in the curved TV world, insists on a concave screen to match the curvature of the eyeball and eliminate image distortion. The picture quality on this 65-inch model, especially with HDR-compatible content, offers plenty of detail to be seen.

Like Sony, this screen uses a direct backlighting system with local dimming so that the black parts are really dark and contrasty. The TV also uses quantum dot technology for superbly lifelike colors and HDR needs. Great choice.

7. LG OLED55B6V

LG's premium TVs use an OLED display, while other TVs have conventional LCD screens. Each pixel on an OLED display is individually controlled, capable of producing its own light, so the result is the maximum local dimming effect.

There is no backlighting like LCDs, and that is the reason for the simply unmatched contrast. The 55-inch TV looks amazing, especially in dimly lit rooms (OLED screens aren't as bright as LCDs).

LG TV's operating system is excellent: it's affordable, easy to use, and rich in details. Please note that LG OLED screens currently come with a one-year Sky Q subscription.

8. Sony KD-65XD9305BU

Before Sony's Best Buy came along, this TV was one of the best the company has developed. 65-inch TV surprisingly thin (less than 4 cm) with a tiny bezel around the screen. The industrial design from Sony is excellent as usual, so the TV looks great even when turned off. The picture quality is amazing.

9.Panasonic TX-58DX802B

The 58-inch TV has a different design than most others. Not everyone might like it, but the easel-style frame is, of course, a statement. The sound quality is the best here because the TV comes with a separate soundbar that sits a little lower and offers great sound and bass.

Picture quality is especially strong with 4K and HDR capabilities that deliver true-to-life colors and deep blacks. Great TV, if you like design.

10. Samsung UE43KS7500

If you like curved TVs but want something smaller, then the 43-inch super-slim model is for you. Some early curved models had a flaw in outside reflections when not sitting at a certain point, but this model overcame this problem.

Just like 4K and HDR, the TV uses quantum dot to have a good picture even in bright conditions. Overall, this TV offers very good 4K picture quality for smaller TVs.

Verdict: 4K TVs

It is still true that for the best image it is worth choosing a big name manufacturer such as Sony, Panasonic or Samsung, as these brands are investing a lot of money in developing better images.

The best all-rounder is the Panasonic 65DX902B, with excellent image quality and value for money. But the highest picture quality, especially for a bright room where OLED does not perform well, is the Sony KD-65ZD9BU. If you have a dark room, LG's OLED55B6V TV is hard to beat and has dropped in price since its launch.
